Blood Pressure Check
The major precursor to every sickness is usually a High Blood Pressure. A regular check of this vital health sign can help avoid so many health issues like Hypertension, Stroke, Cardiac Arrest, and even DEATH!
It is recommended that this be checked once every two years for patients without a history of High Blood Pressure but if otherwise, you should check your Blood Pressure say every 6months or less. However, as you get older your blood pressure is likely to increase and you should be checked more often.

Blood Sugar Check
High Blood Sugar levels may be a sign of diabetes and over prolonged periods of time can cause damage to the tissues and organs of the body.
Diabetes is a condition where the body loses the ability to control blood sugar properly and occurs when the pancreas produces either no insulin at all or not enough to control the blood sugar.
The test involves taking a dot of blood from patient’s finger and dropping on a blood glucose strip which is then inserted into the glucose meter. After few seconds, patient’s result is displayed on the meter.

Body Mass Index Check
That your weight is on the high side is enough a reason for you to want to lose some weight. You must be sure of your weight status and this can only be verified by a Body Mass Index Check.
Body Mass Index (BMI) is the ratio of one’s weight measurement in Kilogram (kg) to the square of the height measured in meters (m) Weight (kg)/ (Height)2 (m)2
This helps to tell if a patient is obese, overweight, underweight or has a normal weight. This involves measurements of the patient’s weight and height and inputting the values in the formula above.
